I have Texas Instruments 89 Titanium calculator (TI-89 Titanium), and I just found out what not to do with it. Don't drop it to floor or step over it. Even it feels quite solid, I can now advise to be little careful when using it.
Today one screw mount of casing cracked, and the casing doesn't anymore keep tightly shut from one corner. So it shuts down when you press buttons with too much force. Little bit of tape or superglue will keep it part again, but I hope that it will last few years with that. If it totally breaks up to parts, then I must buy a new, quite expensive calculator again.
So keep an eye on where's your calculator.
